Tekentip: Wanneer ik de passende emotie teken op de gezichten van de karakters in het prentenboek waar ik aan werk, leef ik me als vanzelf helemaal in op dat moment. Wanneer mijn beeldscherm terug zou kijken naar mij, ziet die een film aan grimassen voorbij komen door de dag. Ook sta ik regelmatig in een of andere bijzondere houding om de balans en emotie te begrijpen, zien en voelen in mijn lichaam. Of kijk ik naar de stand van mijn arm en hand hoe dat uitpakt. Serieus handig zo'n eigen lichaam als hulpje :)

Drawing tip: When I draw the appropriate emotion on the faces of the characters in the picture book I'm working on, I automatically immerse myself in that moment. If my screen were to look back at me, it would see a film of grimaces passing by. I also regularly stand in some weird position to understand, see and feel the balance and emotion in my body. Or I look at the position of my arm and hand to see how that works out. Handy, having your own helping body :)

Ik was zo blij als een kind toen ik 4! kaartjes voor de allerleukste theatervoorstelling van De ridder zonder Billen kocht. Maar toen kwam ik er achter dat ik dan helaas zelf op vakantie ben met mijn gezin. Dus nu willen we ze aan jullie geven!
